For who: Women and girls living in KontulaNo yoga or dance knowledge required!

Classes are FREE!
Classes are in English, possible communication also in Spanish, French or some Slavic language but DON’T WORRY ABOUT LANGUAGE, just come to dance and have fun!!

We have some yoga mats available for you but if you have any kind of mat, you are welcome to bring it.

Come in comfortable clothes and snickers.

We will practice in an easy way and try to understand better our bodies and our ways of moving. The purpose of the classes is to maximise the functionality of the body, to strengthen and stretch. To establish proper breathing but mostly to have fun, listen to some nice music and enjoy the dance.

About the teacher:
Maja Kalafatić (1984) is a dancer, choreographer, pedagogue, and yoga teacher who lives and works between Helsinki, Ljubljana (Slovenia) and Belgrade (Serbia). In 2006, she graduated in dance performance and received her master’s degree in 2015. Maja lives in Kontula, studies at Helsinki Theatre Academy. She has been working as a freelance artist and dance pedagogue for more than fifteen years. Maja is very passionate about teaching and looks forward to starting yoga and dance classes in Kontula.
